ALMOST SILVER and ALMOST GOLD form a diptych exploring the boundary between painting and object. Each work combines a painted surface with a sculptural lower section that appears soft and stretched, despite its rigid structure. The contrast between monochrome painting and reflective metallic surfaces plays with perception, materiality and the illusion of texture. The works can be displayed individually or as a pair.
